So I've been playing the {TD} server a lot recently and I've noticed there's one map most people avoid like the plague. The few times I've seen the server empty or almost empty during the day the map is always Fastlane. I join anyways hoping people will follow suit but they hardly do on this map. Also, when the map changes to Fastlane there seems to almost always be a mass exodus. My suggestion is this: Don't get rid of Fastlane but definately have it appear less frequently in the rotation and remove it from being voted on. It's strange to me how a map like that continues to be show up so frequently when a fun original map, like cp_cowpath, is almost never seen on the server. I was also going to suggest a custom map to take its place like cp_steel which I'm not even sure is on the server but according to this shady site it's going to be an official map so I figure we'll be seeing it a lot more lately. Agreed, lets make Fastlane the red-headed stepchild on the map cycle. Not enough to get annoying, but enough to beat it to a pulp if it gets out of line.
We have cp_steel and I totally dig that map. I just hope we don't have to overplay it when it becomes part of the stock map pack.

I could have sworn I have taken off fastlane to be voted on, i'll check again on that because I also changed the time limit on that map to 30 mins because I to noticed the draw back to the server. I changed around some voting options last night so we shall see...
I'm going to add cp_steel_b4 as of right now.

Aww, I kinda like fastlane. I guess it's not totally being removed anyway.
I just hope the new maps are good and not like crappy goldrush.

I like me some goldrush. I'm still wondering when ctf_convoy is coming on... if ever. And I came on TD once and found that we were playing Doms favorite map. Mach4. It was great fun. I know you love it so much dom!
Well I do love that map it made my day to play on it as a spy.

Mach4 is either impossible or so easy for the spy to play it, if you are lucky and don't run into anybody or dont burst to flames randomly then it's really easy for you to go and just sap the sentries and steal the intel, still don't care for that map, it's to small.
We have convoy and I say we try it out on the tuesday nights.

BTW looking forward to Convoy. That is another map good for spy... and snipers... and engys... not to pyro friendly though.

na, i own as pyro, even in those hard map. I think i am the only one who still use flametrower, shotgun and axe. I dont like the new weapons.
