yes its only pre beta but i just installed it on my laptop and it picked up all my hardware no problem and its just as fast as XP.

windows 7 is the same as vista, just less stuff pre-installed and different feature options that will probably be included in Vista's SP2
Vista's OS code is windows 6
windows 7's OS code is windows 6.1

the cracks just open the features of windows 7. just follow the directions and you will be fine.

i read that the cdkey given on the 2nd site work inf times cuz they were only meant for a couple of ppl at pdc08 to use, btw do those keys work on the x64 torrent?
