Ok, so I realised (While running fc2) that my ati X1600 was very lame. I also realised that 2gb of ram fill fast.

So whats the best NVIDIA card (Price-Quality) I know the GTX280 is badasss, but I dont wanna spend half of my cpu value on a gfx card.
Why only NVIDIA? Cuse I can no longer live with ATI. It keep crashing randomly, and when I try to uptate the driver it complety fuck my computer. So, only NVIDIA. No more crappy ati driver for me.

And for the RAM, What is the best kind around here? I want 2 more gb of RAM. And I Would want It to be fast. What do you guys/girls recommend?

I know I am necro-posting, but I had to say this: This generation is all about ATI. The last generation nVidia cards were great (8800 GT for example), but now it's all about the ATI HD's. I'm personally running 2 ATI HD 4850s in crossfire, but I would recommend anyone to buy an ATI HD 4870x2. Definitely the best bang for your buck. Do not, DO NOT, buy the top of the line nVidia cards from this generation. Overpriced shit.

If they are 8800 GTs, then that was a very good choice. Probably the best card from it's generation for the price.

P.S. - Avante-Guard is me, I just realized I had spelled my name wrong in the registration so I created a new account with the proper spelling.

I personally like Nvidia. I got 2x 9400's for about 60$(For 2), although I cant use them til the 20th...
As for ATI, I don't really like ATI that much... The drivers have too many flaws, like memory leakage, Crashes, and what not. My last card was a ATI.. It worked for about 6 months. (melted... OLO) Good deal on my part.

Haha, no I don't speak french (can understand a few words). I am actually on the other side of Canada (I'm in BC, assuming you are on the east coast somewhere).

There is always 3rd party drivers, not to mention all drivers will have bugs in them until they have been out on the market for a while (talking from the point of few of someone who has the ability to program drivers). Crashes and melting has to do with your case ventilation and cooling (the fans on the cards are only designed to keep the GPU itself cold; it will only make the case warmer Wink ).
