After playing Runescape for 4 years, and getting to level 130 before my 8tails account got stolen. Which was before the "High-Definition" Update (which is totally gay by the way). Runescape was actually pretty cool, that was my first MMORPG and I loved it. It was fun, my friend and I had competition. Point being, the game served it's purpose. It kept me entertained for all those years. But to be perfectly honest with you, even if I got my level 130 8tails account back on Runescape, you couldn't pay me real money to make me play it. The graphic engine looks to silly. Well, getting off topic. I've been on a lot of MMORPG's, after playing only FPS and how repetitive they are just makes me tired. Getting "Brigadier General" in BF:2142 only took me a 256 hour grind, with going to school. That was the last hardcore FPS I'd ever play. World of Warcraft was alright to me, I made a Death Knight going through Outlands, and Northrend it only took a continuous grinder like me 11 days to go from 55-80. But I've only played it for about 2 months, and its already boring.

I wouldn't consider myself a nerd, but playing a MMORPG compared to a FPS is so much more enjoyable. You have free time, and you'd like to game. You could either join a random server, shoot a gun on a map you know. Maybe own, maybe get owned. Or on a MMORPG, you can log on. There is no rush, you can stand around and talk for 10 minutes. Or you can go out and quest at the speed you'd like to go at. Maybe explore a little bit if your new to a certain area.

Not all MMORPG's are the same however. For example, in World of Warcraft if you play a PvP server. Chances are you'll get ganked and corpse camped by people who truly have nothing better to do. Or if you play on a normal World of Warcraft server you can occasionally run into a flagged character. Me being who I am, I am highly aggressive towards the opposing faction normally I'll attack them without thinking. Also, there is a daily in WoW aboard flying ships in Icecrown, to save Saronite Slaves or something. If they are NPC's of the opposing faction I won't even talk to them.

All I can say is, I like fighting other players in a fantasy based world. And I think Warhammer will deliver what I am seeking for my entertainment.
And.. being a graphic designer, I like my armor to match.. WoW has a problem with that besides tier sets and being a bitch to get.

back when I played, i did the same thing haha, alot of times it ended bad, but it did get me some recognition

I killed this lvl 70 rogue when I was like 63 or something like that, and he went on the WoW forums for the server and started talking crap about me and my gear and everyone was like, dude you suck you got killed by a lvl 63 stfu

I'm of the opinion the best PvP MMO out there at the moment is Guild Wars. Nothing comes close to the level of strategy and teamwork involved.
