    Well my craptop is now even worse.  The wireless adapter completely died and now it won't really turn on either.  It starts up for around 7 seconds then shuts itself off  then restarts and repeats.  It will occasionally stay on so thats how i'm posting.  My warranty expired literally 2 weeks ago.  Figures.  I really dont have many options.  Support told me that they may have an extended warranty for me because the faulty wireless adapter is a known problem and they'd replace the mother board, which, I would assume, get rid of all other problems so thats probably my best bet.  But that whole thing is a big if.  My other options are to send it in and pay for another motherboard to replace it, but at that point am I better off just buying a new one? Or should I just junk technology all together and take up a life following buddha?

    Well since the intergraded wifi cards are on the mobo your are screwed, if they are going to do it for you then let them.  If it's coming out of your pocket then buy a cheep PC slot wifi card unless you are sick of it then buy something new all together.

    PC slot cards are cheep now though, its your call id wait and see what they do for you.
