Dark Tofu has now confirmed that our search key works in a L4D lobby.
Whats a search key you say? A search key is a value that a server provides in the server.cfg so that if someone wants to create a lobby but also wants to play a specific server he/she can do so through the console.
First make sure you can access the console, to do so go into your options and enable it
Second create a lobby and press the "`" key to pull up the console and type this:
sv_search_key tdomination
Then you can start the game when the lobby gets full or whenever you want and it
should[/u] work...
It hasn't worked for me yet but I didn't try it yet with the changes I made.
You can also use +sv_search_key tdomination in the set launch option in the steam menu before you launch the game
