    Alright here is a screen shot of my problem, i dont know if you can tell by the screenshot or not what it is... I have paintbrush selected or anything realy but all that shows up where my normal brushes / marquee / paintbucket / whatever is a hand for dragging. It's realy freakin annoying i can't use anything when it does it. It's Like i am using the hand tool and it freezes my cursor on it or something. Anyone know a remedy ?[/b]

    Maybe the icons for each tool got corrupted some how or a custom setting got changed in the preferences.  If it came down to it I would just reinstall ps.

    Some filters and such only work in CMYK.  Perhaps this particular brush would like CMYK as well.
