Yeah, you heard right. I nerf I buy nerf (Or similar foam shooting) guns, do a large amount of warranty-voiding modifications, and then hang out with the community and shoot people. I do paint them myself,but some paintjobs are better than others. I've only been doing this for about a year, so cut me some slack. Some pics of my beautiful work   I get about 98 feet with the top gun, about 30 feet with the lower one. And yes, the lower one if fired by the keyring.  Without clip  Clip  gun with clip This has a nice rate of fire, but ranges only get about 50 feet on a good day.  my hand gun  There's a 1/2" cpvc coupler in there for my 1/2" cpvc barrels.  with barrel in I hit about 85 feet last time I checked. The rof is average on this one. Sometimes I use a speed loader  This is one of my 100% homemades    Homemade breech  open  closed I made this from poly-carbonate, and I can hit over 140 feet with this thing. Last gun for now  Why, yes, that red thing is an air tank.  Top one is the minimized version  It does indeed fire large foam rockets I hit about 200 feet + on a good day Thanks for looking! -Xj |

those are some crazy mods dude. i do airsoft stuff, but i never thought that you could do so much with nerf guns. i'm impressed

haha thats awesome yah airsofting was my thing but those nerf guns are pretty cool like ur homemade gun with the stock u can put on your arm for stability lol

You gave me the motivation to do something myself. Maybe a Air powered turbo rocket. Or a air-gun.
Maybe a automatic nerf gun that you dont have to reload. (The air)

Oh, I used to do a lot of paintball, but spending that much for just one play on the weekends got annoying.
I could easily built all of these guns by using what you use to start paintball (Helmet, marker, paintballs.)
D.C.= Yes, that is a stock, I need it for the 29lb pull for the priming handle.
Boba Fett= I have an automatic that has 75 round chains, but it's not painted, or special in any way.
Give me a mission, and I will try and make it and post it to a topic I can start later. I've only made one prop, The spiker from halo, but it was destroyed.
I'm open for ideas, I'm running out.

I joined, and not too much longer after that my computer crashed. I had to nurse it back to health before I was able to be on forums and play TF2. These guns are what I did during that time.

Seriously though thats some pretty cool stuff. I remember reading a walktrough to make the lancer (gears of war 2) out of nerf guns. Have to admit, it looked pretty fucking sweet.
