Actually I think not. There are so many twats in TF2 who think stealth is their thing when they're better off running into a room and clearing it as a heavy. If you wanna be good at stealth go through Thief 2 a couple of times. In other words, so many players think they can be good with spy, but they can't be. If you're wondering what this has to do with anything about an update, Valve updates the class that is least played. If I had to guess, either soldier, sniper, or demo.

spy practically got his update, just no weapons or achievements. If that doesn't make any sense, what I mean is there have been several big changes to the way spy is played already. Stab changes, disguise changes, even cloak changes. They'll probably wait a little bit on his unlockables.
I would, however, love to be wrong.
