Now as you all know here at TD, Game reviews are a fairly common. Not to say that they are unwelcome in any way, but I just feel like its time for a change. This is hopefully the first of many that I shall make, and I think you all may have an interest in it.

..::KOOLAID'S REVIEW::..

That's right folks, I have decided to write a review about some of the greatest people in the world... The members of TD and their associates.

Now, just about anyone and everyone who has played on a TD server (for we now have many), specifically on Team Fortress II, has had a chance to encounter the rare species that we all know as Koolaid. However, the reason I write this review is because it seems that popular belief is contradictory to fact when it comes to people judging others here and it just turns out the Koolaid is #1 on the list of most controversial people we know.

Now what makes Koolaid so different from others you may ask? I am sure any who have met him can tell you exactly what I mean here but I will lay everything out for those who may not know.

Koolaid is obnoxious. Pure and simple. You know when Koolaid has entered a server because your speakers, headphones, whatever you may use, become filled with what first may be mistaken as white noise but slowly resolves into the thunderous cry of Koolaid using one or more of his most favorite phrases. What are his favorite phrases, you may ask? Well they are many and I have neither the time nor the patience to list them all so I shall put a few, they are;
"FUCK" , "NIGGER", "BITCH" , "FUCK YOU SUICIDAL KAL, YOU'RE A NIGGER" , or something to those effects.

Now it seems so far that everything I have said is pretty straight forward correct? All signs point to Koolaid being a racist obnoxious annoying asshole. Wrong.
I have had the opportunity to witness other's judgements on Koolaid and most tend to be along the lines just mention, but I have also come across some people who have come to his defense (Koi) so I felt I should set the record straight here.

There is no denying that Koolaid is loud, obnoxious, whatever, on the game servers, but the point is that it is only there. Koolaid is the type of kid who just does what he can to have a good time and keep others happy, without becoming one of those pansy bitches that just does whatever people ask of them so that everyone wins. No, Koolaid does his own thing and sticks too it. Now if you apply that to just about anyone or anything else, you would consider that an admirable trait. So what makes that any different here?

I have had to opportunity to talk to Koolaid out side the games, in just your normal everyday conversations and it is starkly contrasted by what you would normally expect. For starters, he is not a racist, not even close. To be honest, I am probably more of a racist than he is and I cant remember the last time I called someone a nigger. Koolaid is more or less one of those people who dictates their own life, lives it their own way and just ignores the other people who don't really matter.

Now whatever I or you may think of Koolaid asside, it is at this point where i need to come to his defense.
Koolaid is a guy who has his own opinions and expresses them. This is an good thing. If you do not agree with what he has to say or do then fine, that is your opinion, but dont cast your opinion over his just because you don't like him. And while we are on that point, don't bash him down without even getting to know him outside of a game first. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but if your opinion is unintelligent or ignorant then keep it to yourself. Everyone can tell when you are one of those two things and no one, I repeat, NOT A SINGLE GOD DAMNED SOUL, wants to hear what you have to say if you fall under either of the previous two categories of stupidity.

If you are an ignorant prick, then go show off your mental handicap to the world by swallowing a 50 caliber bullet. (And yes, I do mean go shoot yourself in the face). Ignorance is the one thing on this planet that is going to be the death of all of man kind and no one here wants to deal with it. If you are just uneducated, then take this opportunity to go learn before you say anything.

For those of you who think I got off topic, you are far from the truth. Everything I just said apply's to Koolaid because it seems that a fair few amount of people jump to conclusions about him simply because he can be annoying in a game. If he annoys you, mute him. Don't bitch and complain to other people because in this case, 50% of the people actually think he is funny(Considering the vote to let him join was 50/50 I know what i am talking about). If you feel the need to bash him down for some reason, then take the high road and give him a chance. Talk with him some time, learn a little about him. If you still don't like him afterwards then thats your deal but atleast you gave him a chance.

I guess I should defend myself now because I know that some idiot is going to argue something along the lines of. "you are just defending him because you think he is funny". Well for your information, 8 times out of 10, I am one of the first people to mute him when he comes on. I do think the kid is funny, but I don't want to always deal with his shit, so I turn it off and you know what. THE ANNOYANCE IS GONE. It's like the mute button is a fucking miracle button. How hard is that to deal with. So yea I am defending him, yea I think he is funny but I mute him just as much, if not more than most so your arguements about me being biased just dove head first out the window of a 747 15,000 feet in the air.

To wrap this all up, I will sum up Koolaid as simply as possible.

He is loud, obnoxious, annoying, funny, easy going, and a generally nice kid beneath it all. If you want a number, I give him an 8/10.

Now for my personality chart: (5 being the best(good), 0 being the worst(bad)).

Annoying: 3
Honest: 5
Loud: 2

Overall: 3.8 Decent Guy.

He may be hard to get to know because if the first time you meet him, he is calling you a nigger, then you may be hesitant. However, given the chance, he is a good kid and it is my personal experience that he definately deserves the chance.

I would have stood up for anyone really. Regardless if it's Koolaid or not. Point being, if you're going to comment just to be a douche, then you're better off not commenting at all. Drama is for women (non TD women of course) and prepubescent kids. However, making jokes for fun is always appreciated. Though replying out of malice is not welcome. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I know not everyone likes everyone here, but pick your battles. If you think it's going to start up nonsense and ruffle feathers then it isn't worth it and you should keep it to yourself.

So all in all, it's not just Koolaid. If someone posted a legitimate thread and isn't getting the respect they deserve, I'll put a foot up their ass
