I love all the little add ons they included. Also I'm so going with Jarate instead of smg/razorback. Ambassador's guaranteed crits are going to be extremely powerful. I hardly see any drawbacks with the gun as you can still shoot as fast, just less accurately until cool down. I can't wait to play this update. Hopefully it'll be later tomorrow. If not its saturday.

Yeah, I thought the Ambassador was just going to have a slower firing rate. Now it's just better at long range and still ok for close range. But the new unlock method seems ridiculously stupid to me.

agreed.. im just gona set up my bot server and fuck the shit outa them until i get ma weapons!! i wish i could do that at least before it felt like i was earning the weapons by getting the achis now its just like "wonder when ill get the new weapon, 5 minutes?, today?, next week?" rather annoying compared to watching one of my friends get all the scout achis, non-achi server, in about 6 hours play time |

we had some issues that prevented the system from working properly, so that timeframe was not indicative of the system as it's designed.

All I have to say is that the huntsman is one of the most fun things ever. The sniper rifle served me well but its time to but it to bed.
Edit: Jarate + Huntsman is a killer combo.

There is a possibility that you will NEVER get any new items. there is a possibility that you will NEVER get the one you want. if it was random and you only got new stuff that would make sense. but now it could by all means never happen. anyways tonight when i go to sleep im leaving my guy in spec on the td server if thats alright with you guys. yes you can earn them in spec. i get 1-2 weapons every game from watching tv while this is in spec. i play an hour spec an hour. then tonight i go to sleep and hopefully wake up with what i need. |

The 5 stages of update grief

It seems like lots of people are going through the 5 stages of grief because of this update.
1) Denial- People are getting some weapons. I bet I can get the weapons too. Maybe if I get some achievements, they will unlock like before or increase my chances.
2) Anger- WTF!! why can't I get any items? Why are stupid noobs getting everything? CURSE YOU UPDATE.
3) Bargaining - Hey Valve, maybe you can change the unlock system so we can get items. I promise that we will stop complaining and be good.
4) Depression - WHY DO YOU HATE ME LADY LUCK. Why is there nothing I can do to unlock the update content?
5) Acceptance - Sigh, I guess I will keep playing the game because it is fun. Hopefully, I'll get a new item someday...

But it still does less damage than a normal revolver....somehow.
I was kinda hoping for it to do more damage overall, with a much lower rate of fire.
