I was never technically in the clan...
But I love the people in TD and that's why I always play. I go where they go, I don't care under what name. I've befriended a lot of TD's players.

I'm just sad because I was real excited to get the tag on my name, but I was letdown because of a vote that had already been decided before anyone "walked in". That's the only thing I'm upset about. Other than that, I really don't have a say in anything that goes down.

Ok I will break it down...   The server in order to fill up needs people...  The server will never fill with full TD memebers.. It has come vary close but that is not a vary common thing.  If everyone is bombing all these racial slures all the time and wearing tags for the server,  The server will dwindle in population do to the fact they dont want to be around that.  Saying and spamming funny stuff is one thing.   Saying comments that can or will offend people is another.  Saying that representation isnt a valid reason to not get in a clan is like saying I can work at a store and say fuck N-Bombs to customers and still get people to come to my store....  The whole reason to have a server with 32 person slots is to fill that..  If you are not going to get 32 people in it cause of bad reputation cause of a few TD memebers saying things that are offensive well then what the fuck is the point of having the server.

My point is that disliking something is subjective. I only play on the server when there are actually people in it and I've never seen a person leave the server because some asshole said nigger on the internet.

As an example, Xbox Live is probably the biggest cesspool of ass, bullshit and niggardry, but it still has 6,000,000+ users.

Being offended doesn't mean people will leave. Your assumption that this is the case is false and is disproven by the fact that the server is usually full when I play (not because of me, but it happens to be the case).

It's much more likely people quit because of music spamming and the like, and because of people like Byron.


The problem with your comparison is that a store and the internet are different. Let's say "Representation" on the internet does matter. Why would "representation" be up to one single person in a community? Isn't "representation" the face of the clan? Anyway, {TD} used to be good as far as I can remember when I was first introduced to the clan server by |voodoo|, it was much simpler, fewer players, fewer sounds, a bunch of custom maps to keep it interesting. The only time Dominator came onto the server was late after he got out from work and started drinking. It was fine and dandy, if you didn't want to play 8 hours of toyfort then you could go to sleep or something and wake up for some other maps. Eventually stupid things were done like 24 hour bestinclass, which I think was too much.

Around the time achievements were released, I got so bored and couldn't find a good way to grief anybody that took a huge break from Valve games in general. I come back, hoping for something like newer custom maps or something, and it got worse already. The map rotation sucked, the new sounds didn't help but I think I found a way to disable them, and the players weren't as cool. One of the main things was Dominator started playing on the server much more, and he might've done something like stick extra pl_badwater in the rotation because it's the only map he can play spy better at.

I don't really want to go into details about more recent issues, but the point being I remember when {TD} used to be good, unless it was even better before I found it. I'd much more prefer the older server, with the older map rotations, people like custom maps, as long as they aren't bad maps. Spies might not like them as much, Scouts might not like not knowing where every single medkit and ammokit is so they can play tourneymode, but most people will like them.

I have no idea what happened to |voodoo| anyway, must've dissolved from being so thick skulled.

Thank you for showing me that I should now spend my time else where which is more important and appreciated by others.  TD is still for life but for the people that know how to respect what they have and not get in a group chat or server and start making claims that Im the worst person out there.

This is pretty hilarious to me and I think for those of you who are unhappy which obviously I couldn't make possible with all the things I have provided for you that you should find somewhere that will give you exactly what you want.  Good luck really I seriously hope you are happy.

However, because this has all spiraled into a HUGE fucking mess, I'm going to stay neutral to the entire situation. I'm not on anyone's side. Everyone just try to remain calm as I'm trying to work on a solution for this just like our past problems.  It may not be the best, and I may not be right as I'm not always am, but at least I'm trying to do something right with the best intentions instead of playing Blame Fortress 2.

I know I have been wrong before and I'm sorry but guys I MAKE mistakes and I'm not perfect and being a leader comes with that responsibility and that understanding (It's my job but I love it and it's not a Job to me, unless its dirty jobs).  That's why as of now I'm trying to think of something with what little time I have like I posted about me being away for a while to help out everyone here to be happy.  

Please try to understand my actions and were I come from.  It should be clear already as all the disrespect you have thrown to me, I have not thrown back to you.  Like I said I make mistakes and I'm just trying to guide TD in the right direction, think if you guys had to do my Job, it was really hard keeping 60+ members happy and please don't be so quick to judge me or assume my actions really I'm here for the best, do you guys really think I want to sit here and betray you guys, even so if I did you really think that I would think I would get away with it.  Why the hell would I want to do that?

TD isn't going anywhere even if it's just me left, I will still continue the hard work I have done in the past to keep such a great thing going.

Thank you for your patients and I would appreciate it so much more if you guys could give me more respect and encourage me to do a good job instead of complaining about me and using my name on the server making random quotes about me.

I'm sorry if you guys think I'm a dictator but I never said koolaid couldn't ever get in and I said we should hold of a little while on the new members.  I have always handled the new members process as with Stobbin as well and this isn't the first time I had to make a call for someone to get in or not and it worked out pretty well.  I'm still learning here guys, at least give me that.
