Vinh did seem a bit twitchy. Also it kinda looked like he sometimes shot someone when he wasn't aiming at them but its hard to tell from the demo. Also when he was in the spawn he emptied his pistol in like 1 second, so either

a. Its a hack
b. He has a modded mouse (easy to do)
c. He has parkinsons
d. He actually is a robot
e. All of the above?

As for nutzz, I may be wrong but half the time it didn't look like he was even aiming his shots? I dunno.

Food for thought: if Vinh was hacking all along, how come VAC hasn't caught on? Isn't it meant to detect modified client side files?

VAC is made. to. scare. you. If you have 1/4 of a brain you will know not to tell everyone in the game you are hacking, they dont detect anyone otherwise. Even though Bungie's post sounds a bit retarded (no offense man) he's ABSOLUTELY right. VAC only catches the most common, basic hacks. They don't catch the cream of the crop hacks for a few reasons;

1. Not many people use them
2. They're hard to block
3 (also the biggest factor) the people willing to pay for a hack are DEFINITELY willing to pay for the game. It's good business, and the best are hacks almost impossible to notice gameplay-wise.

It is rather annoying.  I played pretty much all day on Sunday, and it became pretty clear who had the extra advantages.  But, the people I'm talking about are not on the list above. It does seem a little strange that people get yelled at (seriously yelled at!) if they even think of using the Backburner - a valve created addition to the game, but I have never heard anyone say anything to anyone about hacking.

For the record, I'm still not convinced that Vinh or Nutzz are hacking based on the demos linked in this thread.  As i stated above, I guess i don't know what to look for. it's hard to see a shaky hand on a scout that's bouncing all over the place. I have only played with Vinh a couple of short matches, and just thought he was really good; and i have NEVER thought of Nutzz as being anything other than mediocre.

I think it's unreasonable to say that the issue shouldn't be brought up on the forums. It's already taboo to call someone out on it in game. There should be a platform for people to raise this issue and see what the rest of the community thinks about it, or what to watch out for, and not just isolate the conversation to a 1 on 1 with Dom.  And from the responses here, hacking seems to be an ok way to play on TD, or at least one that has little to no repercussions.

If it's as wide-spread as Koi mentions, than this may not be the public server for me.

Sorry, but FUCK your double standard. If a TD member hacks, everybody should be allowed to hack, period. Vinh hacking is NOT indirect trolling because he doesn't talk about how fucking awesome he is, or that he could beat everyone, and then hacks to do it. He's simply hacking to hack (although I'm not sure if he actually is or not).

The main point of this thread was to alert that Vinh is hacking, so i would like to see that get some sort of resolution.  I opened the demo and slowed it way down to see if i could see any tell tale signs that are mentioned.  I still don't see it.  I recorded it and posted it to my server.

I understand your frustration, but I think you are taking it too personally.  People are willing to address the issue, but i don't think anyone is going to give anyone the boot without solid evidence.  You posted a couple videos saying that you see hacking.  Lots of people are looking at what you presented and still saying, (paraphrasing) "Can you explain what you are seeing so we can make a judgment, because we don't see the evidence."

So far you have pretty much responded that if we don't see it, it is our own fault, or that there are ways that he could be hacking that are undetectable.  That may well be true, but your assumption alone that someone is hacking isn't enough to warrant any strong action.

In the video he doesn't hit every shot, he doesn't get kills for everyone he shoots at, and he doesn't seem to automatically know where everyone is at before he should.  Again... if you see something that everyone else is missing, beyond the fact that he is too good for your liking, explain it/point to it in the video/link to a hack program that would do what he does/or anything to prove your point.  That will add credibility to your claim. But don't try to make it look like we are all in denial, as that's clearly not the case.

Really the only class you can use a aimbot with is sniper and be effective. Believe me or not but I have experience with this as I have used them before, I don't anymore but thats another story.
