ShoutBox is obviously installed and will remain there until something better comes up but most likely it will be here for a long period of time. I'm still working on some issues like quotes and stuff like it/'s and shouldn/'t. I'm also working on getting the chat button at the top and chat status at the bottom of the forum to auto refresh to show who is actually in the chat instead of having to refresh the page. The ShoutBox and Chat room are connected to the same database. What does that mean Dominator you ask? It means it's the same damn thing and if you plan on chatting I highly recommend to just use the chat button because that runs much smoother/faster, you have more control, and you don't sometimes have to refresh the page or type something sometimes to see if someone responded or typed something. The chat button simple goes here and there's a link on our main website as well. /forums/chatI also updated our MOTD page for TF2 along with our main page with cleaning up buttons, spell check (I'm t3h teriblez), and server status and news. ../motd.html../Our vps was down because long story short the auto deduct pay was broken before and then they reported it was fixed so I didn't touch anything and then when I saw this was down I checked the payment status and there was one due for awhile back but it should have automatically deducted the money I had on there. So they are like you no pay! I r like wtf mate there's money there! Also the billing department takes forever to respond holy/holly shit! So I just asked the support department to turn us back on and they did that less than an hour instead of waiting 24 hours with the billing department, lesson learned. Oh well I still love our host compared to the last ones  |

you can pretty much ignore it unless it comes up a lot and you can't post a message or receive one because that means shit is broke.

Very nice work, forums are looking good and the chat/shoutbox always looks fine to me. I'm still working on some issues like quotes and stuff like it/'s and shouldn/'t.
I hate those problems and I always have to fix them like 4 different times before I get it right.  |

yea same here, for me its like 8 times but lol whatever. I thought it was the language set so I tried changing it to UTF-8 manually inside the code but it still didnt work, and the support forums told me to search and theres like 177 pages and their search isn't good at all...

could be but I believe the changes I made yesterday should have fixed it, make sure flash and java is installed on IE8
*edit* damn never mind it doesn't work anymore... Great now I have to fix it. Why can't shit just work.

If it doesn't work right away give it a sec to load or create some activity to activate the refresh by like typing something. You also have to do that sometimes with firefox to get response for some reason. |
