Anyone know why I have a port forwarded through my router, but it's not opening?

my firewall isn't blocking it either, and it was working before I switched my internet provider (no my new modem/internet provider isn't blocking the port either)

I've been trying to figure this out, too, for my friend so we can get hamachi working with him. It works with raVen and I, but the 3rd's router refuses hamachi :l
    Helps would be appreciated.

Make sure its both TCP and UDP or check to make sure if it just requires just one.  Sometimes I just setup a DMZ because there are some missing ports that I don't know that need to be open or I just give up....

it is both and both are forwarded, im trying a DMZ right now, but I shouldn't need it considering it was working before I switched providers

    *edit*

DMZ didn't work either, the port is still being blocked... I have no idea whats going on.

    *edit edit*

I had to forward my IP through my AT&T modem, but I got it working now!
