so i've found myself lurking some old forums, and i couldn't help but post and question the current state of avp2's decaying carcass, and some old faces i haven't seen in a while... i installed that shitty avp2 reg master server about 6-7 months ago and played a game or two then left and uninstalled. i've heard that even that pseudo master server is down now, does anyone know? if its still possible i'd like to see some kind of avp2 reunion also http://steamcommunity.com/id/TheHatedHero |

can use hamachi and play a LAN game... i never got it working with more than one other person tho because of whatever... Raz-K and I played and raven and I played. other than that... avp2 is dead and pretty much buried... BUT we could always try again on the hamachi thing and just play with ourselves  ) also... there is that shitty new avp out which.... sucks balls.... to be honest |

Never got Hamachi to work, ever. Everything is true though, the master servers are down so you will not get anything. The new AvP sucks cock because multiplayer never ever fucking works for me and single player is decent at best.
I think that might be F8 but nobody has stayed in contact with him.
TD is still around but mostly just this forum with the few awesome people left checking it and putting their entertaining finds up to help us stay entertained as well.

Hmm that might be worth checking out. I just don't understand how they managed to fuck out the recent AvP when it looked so bad ass.. I think they just need to talk to people like us and we can request what we want to make a game that's better than AvP 2 and that's really not that fucking hard.

Likewise, the single player has really boring points especially where you get stuck and there's no sign of what to do next so you spend 30 mins going around looking for a way forward and sometimes you end up making it harder on yourself.

yeah. i still beat myself up about buying it.
i got fallout new vegas for $30... its alright... ive soaked 12 hours into it in a sick day from work and then realized that i hadnt eaten all day.... but the story line kind of blows
global agenda isnt terrible for a free game.

Global Agenda is a lot of fun... as long as you are a Premium player. I brought my Assault up to level 50, and it got pretty grindy near the end. I can't imagine doing that with the halved exp that free players get.

I played that a while back, other than me getting distracted by pretty pretty shiny shinies, it was pretty cool. Had a Blue/Red powersuit with white lights and a big ol' rocket lawnchair. Of course now I'd have to get a pink power suit, for obvious reasons. |
