the thing is all the creepy devil crap, and the screams and evil laughter and the crap growing on the wall and the shit jumping out at you, plus the game is practically pitch black the entire time and your flashlight is like another weapon so you have to switch back and forth so after you yell holy shit and get shot and such a few times you finally get your gun out and blow the thing away

This game doesnt compare anymore, but it was scary back in the day...well at least creepy and suspenseful. System Shock 2. All creepy, "we want your skin" "join the many" screaming for your blood and soul. yea.

id have to say the creepiest part of Doom3 was when you get the plasma gun, if you didnt hear it a lady screeches "They took my baby" and then you hear a baby cry, then this really nasty demon jumps up just as you grab the gun

the scariest games i've played... listed in order of... freaking the fuck outs...
1. Fatal Frame *one or two* scariest fucking games... in the dark
2. Condemned *the xbox 360 game* ... Could have been number one...
3. Any Silent Hill... i just get weird vibes when i play those games
4. Resident Evil * 1 or 2 * ... not really scary... but.. i hear shit...
5. Sanitarium ... creepy fucking game... you start hearing the game sounds... in your room... late at night..
All those games where played in the dark...
so yea..
fucking creepy ass hell.
But i do recomend all of them
Xcept Sanitarium...

it was pretty good, in all. They said go to sleep, i told them the games best when you play at night... I was playing in our living room T_T its the open room with doorways with no doors, 2 windows, a door with huge amounts of glass. etc.
i think i shat myself at one point, iwas gonna fart then something happened on the game and i was like ... awhhhwhwh O.o

Okay I got Doom 3 and finished it in 2 days - it wasn't scary....at all.
There were two parts where I jumped and that 1 place was when an elevator crushed me XD.
THis is off-topic (i think) but anyways -
In the night I woke up 3 times because I heard voices in my head and many of the pictures I saw on Doom 3 couldn't leave my mind...
There is something about that game that is just...dark, but not scary - it is hard to explain I mean it is pretty satanic and violent...I don't mind the violence I mind what the violence is trying to portray though...
Well I want to finish FEAR and see what it is like now....on to better and cooler games for me =), cooler and better games are becoming more scarce now tho...anyway - tha tis my piece. =D

Aliens Vs Predator Gold Edition playing the first mission in the dark as the marine, the first time the motion detector beeped, I nearly shit myself and ended up killing the first alien I saw noob style with a pulse nade....
Dead space is pretty creepy to but I only played it on ps3 and I was only scared because I CAN'T AIM WITH A CONTROLLER!

Imma have to say that after playing through FEAR now that im older and less sane, it beats Doom3 for full game scariness
Dead Space is creepy, but I spend more time trying to aim with its crazy side view random movement shooting style crap to get jumpy at things
Its like, a monster jumps out but i dont even see it cause im looking at the floor or something and takes like a minute of running around to find where the damn thing is cause I cant see straight
im downloading the FEAR 2 demo right now, hope its as good/scary as the first one

honestly the demo to bioshock made me miss 2 night of sleep, but the game wasnt bad or even scary, just amazing
@ 8tails: i never found ex scary... kinda predictable

Just played the Fear 2 demo, it was alright only made me "jumpy" once. Flashlight sucks in that game, you have all these guns and high tech power armor suits. Yet you can't even get a flashlight with a decent amount of wattage... fail.

I actually thought Dead Space was pretty predictable. My first time through I just knew that creature by the first save wasn't dead. This. The original Turok scared me as a kid |
