From my point of view, they have alot to learn about "hacking".
Their first approach obviously proves they know nothing and secondly, they shoulda kept their mouths shut about the whole threat thing until they actually had the advantage of pulling it off.
The most they could possibly do at this point is remotely scan for vulnerabilites using AccessDiver, Rhino9 or some program of that nature. Most of these vulnerabilties along with bruteforcing are mainstream and outdated.
They mostly use proggies or information that they downloaded. So obviously they aint doing anything new cause they would have already done it.
Most small buisness hosts are up to date so I doubt theyll be successfull.

First off, Look at their names. They obviously use SubSeven judging by their unoriginal Alias's(R.A.T and XJOONASX). I know they aint from SLAK cause I know all the german members on a somewhat personal note...They try to use the signature haxorz style mIRC nicks and some names they used on AvP2 while using my hacks...haha these guys expect me to take them serious?

These are my computer skills - IT Certified Professional, NT+ Cert Professional, Microsoft Systems Certified Expert, Defcon Certified Security Analyst Expert, A+ Certified Professional. If I dont hafta mention I program in 8 major languages of code.
If he knew the first thing of any of the above skills, it would have been the first choice in his vocabulary.
Secondly, phreaking has been extinct since the invention of SIM chips and IDEN phones. This is why they were invented in the first place.
